You Can't Take it With You was a show where I was given much more creative freedom to explore the world's lighting. I was responsible for deciding when cues would be, the cues' length, and the entire show's look. I got to create cues as I saw fit and really analyze the script and the needs. It was an interesting challenge to create unique and dynamic lighting in a show so focused on real, everyday experiences within a house. Though I was not able to experiment much with color or texture, it was interesting to really focus on the concepts of angle, position, and placement.
